Vtg, original 1976 Monogram Tom Daniel Vanana Split. Kit #1000. Factory sealed.:
$41.00

This sale is for an original 1976 1st issue Vanana Split Dodge Van, one of more than 85 kits designed for Monogram by Tom Daniel. Kit number is 1000. I have more Tom Daniel kits listed and more to come in the weeks ahead, so please check my other listings. This is a factory sealed kit. It is sealed with the original cellophane and there are no rips, tears or holes in the cellophane. The colors are bright and vivid on the top and all four side panels. There is no caving on the box top. This is a very nice, like new kit. I welcome any questions you may have about the kit and will gladly provide additional photos upon request.
Check my response and PLEASE READ the paragraphs below. They contain important information regarding my sales, and hopefully might just give you a chuckle or two. Thanks for looking and happy offerding! For nearly 60 years I have been collecting \"things\"- houses, cars, guns, books, etc. One \"thing\" I have truly enjoyed collecting is model kits. I recently retired and I\'ve reached that point in my life (OLD AGE) when it is time to stop collecting and start divesting. I mean come on, why does an old, retired guy really need all this stuff? I\'ll get to the houses, cars and everything else all in due time, but I\'ll start by selling off all (well, not all, I\'m sure I\'ll keep a few) of my model kits. I have hundreds of kits, mostly vintage originals. I\'m pretty sure I have kits you\'ve been searching for. I\'m also sure I have kits that you desperately need, even though you might not be aware that you need them. I will be listing some of them every week, so stay tuned!I have purchased many of the kits I own on . If you have purchased kits from sellers then I am sure you have dealt with some of the same types of shady characters that I have occasionally encountered on the site. You know the crooks I\'m talking about: the one who sells you a \"complete\" kit with half a dozen missing or broken parts. Or, the one who sells you a \"vintage original\" kit which was manufactured in 2001. Or, how about the \"pristine\" kit that arrived looking like Leonardo DiCaprio after the bear got hold of him in \"The Revenant\"? Well, I just want you to know that I\'m not any of those guys. You WILL NOT experience any of these problems if you buy a kit from me. When you consider buying one of my kits you can be assured that:
1) I will describe the kit as accurately as possible. I want you to know exactly what you are offerding on. No pigs in pokes for sale here!
2) I will painstakingly inventory every kit before listing it. I won\'t just look in the box, see a bunch of parts and say \"appears complete\". The majority of my kits are complete, but I will CLEARLY state if a kit has missing or damaged parts and list every one of those parts.
3) Original issue kits will be listed as such. If I am not 100% sure that a kit is original, I will clearly state that in the ad.
4) Re-issue kits will be listed as such, NOT as original kits.
5) You can e-mail me with any questions you have and I will answer them honestly. If you wish to speak with me on the telephone I will happily provide you with my number.
6) If you require additional photos, I will be glad to provide them. Just e-mail me your request.
7) I want you to get the kit that you expect to get, and I want you to be happy (thrilled, actually) with your purchase. If I make an error in my listing (Hey, it could happen. I\'m not perfect, just ask my wife), PLEASE contact me. I\'ll make it right.
8) All kits will be securely packaged and shipped priority mail, 1-4 day delivery. The post office charges a flat rate of $13.45. They set the rates, not me. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs. DO NOT pay attention to the shipping calculator. It is wildly inaccurate. I will not ship outside of North America. offers from outside this little slice of the planet will be cancelled. There you have it! I\'ve said my piece. Hope I didn\'t bore you to tears. One more thing I have to mention. There are, as previously noted, some unscrupulous sellers out there in the universe. Unfortunately, there are also some dishonest buyers. If you are one of those crooks who buys a kit just to get some parts you need and then tries to claim that \"the item was not as described\", remember, as I have plainly stated above, all of the kits I sell will be shipped exactly as described in the ad. Therefore there will be NO RETURNS accepted on any of my kits. By placing a offer on one of my kits you agree that the kit is as described, you understand exactly what you are offerding on, and you will accept the kit with no complaints.
My apologies to all the honest buyers out there, but that had to be said.Thank you for your patience and may the best (and by best I mean highest) buyer win!PLEASE NOTE: It has been brought to my attention by some of my loyal buyers that there are other sellers using my exact header and ad body to sell their items. Perhaps those sellers think my ads are really good, in which case I\'m flattered. But, maybe they are just too lazy to write their own ads. Shame on them! Hey kids, can you say \"Plagiarism\"? Whatever the case, please be aware that I do not know those other sellers and I am not affiliated with them in any way. Just because they choose to make their ads look like mine by stealing my template, they are not me and I cannot vouch for them or their items. All I\'m saying is, be sure you know who you are dealing with before you place a offer. CYOA, if you get my drift.
