The last hatI had that look like this the guy said it was a German officers hat when I looked it up I believe he was right so unsure of this hat I thoughtbut looks like the World War II German officers hat pretty beat up some of the stuff around the edges is coming off it’s very dusty it has a cloth like material on the top instead of a silky material out of a breathable looks like a leather band I like I say it needs a good cleaning it’s pretty beat up so buying as isEstate sale find not sure on the size I think it’s a large will need cleaning as it’s fairly dusty and maybe some sewing for the inside ring buying as is as seen for parts or repair needs cleaning. The badges on the front look original also. some minor rust
