The Golden Touch is a Walt Disney Silly Symphony cartoon made in 1935. The story is based on the Greek myth of King Midas, with a medieval setting.UK 1ST EDITION 1935 HARDCOVERPUBLISHED BY COLLINS CLEAR TYPE PRESSPRINTED IN ENGLANDUNDATED, BUT THIS IS THE FIRST EDITION FROM 1935
The book is in reasonably good condition for its age. Firm binding, but the spine uppermost fabric cover is loose.
There is wear to the edges, corners and spine ends etc. of the boards, which can be seen in the photos.
There is considerable age related foxing to the pages and page edges. One page has a closed tear to the lower edge of the page. There is a small chip to the corner of the rear end paper.
No inscriptions.
Overall a decent, though well loved copy of this rare UK first edition.
The book weighs 717 grams - hence the international postage charges.
