WATERMAN 72 1/2 RIPPLE FOUNTAIN PEN This is a beautiful rare Waterman #72 1/2 Red Ripple Fountain Pen. It is in very good condition with clear markings. The barrel is marked‘Pat 1884 May 1899Waterman IdealFountain Pen New York USA Aug 4 1903\'.This pen is a sight to behold.
The pen closed is approximately 5”long. The nib is marked \'Waterman Ideal 14 Kt Firm\'.
This pen is rare and would be an incredible addition to any collection.
I am selling this for a friend who needs to pay for his child’s schooland have no idea of it’s value, only it’s uniqueness; so it is being offered with a very reasonable reserve so that it finds a good home. As I do not work on pens I have not tested it or opened it.
