William Comyns Hm1890 Victorian Solid Silver Rose Specimen Posy Vase 268 Grams For Sale
This fantastic Victorian posy or rose specimen vase stands 190mm (7.5'') high x 65mm (2.5'') across the rim and weighs 268 grams including loading to the base. It is fully hallmarked for solid English sterling silver London 1890 with the makers mark for the good quality firm of William Comyns. The vase itself is beautifully embossed with floral swags twisting around the body with a simple fluted base. It is in good original condition with a few minor bruises around the base rim, a good gauge of silver and fine detailing to the flowers. A fine specimen flower vase from a top Victorian maker, a very decorative or usable piece. International buyers are always welcome to this sale. F.M.O.C.
