WILLIAM LLOYD GARRISON 1863 ANTI-SLAVERY NEWSPAPER, COLORED TROOPS, NEGRO PRAYER

THE LIBERATOR, August 28, 1863, Boston. This is a rare ANTI-SLAVERY newspaper by the famed abolitionist publisher WILLIAM LLOYD GARRISON. The masthead features two engravings, one of a slave sale and the other of slaves being freed. It features many articles concerning general liberty and the emancipation of slavery in the United States. Garrison founded this Anti-Slavery newspaper in 1831 and was published through December of 1865.

This issue is original and complete as issued, 4 pages, and in excellent condition still attached at the spine and is guaranteed to be as described. It was printed on a heavy rag/cotton paper thus it is not at all brittle to the touch!
