I am offering for sale this finely detailed antique indian silver (.900 tested) large box
beautifully decorated all around with repousse relief of hunters and jungle scenes.

The main panel of the box has a scene of a hunter with rifle and dog behind three stag deer.

The front panel of the box has three cartouche depicting deer, tigers and camels.

One side cartouche has two elephants, the other side has a hunter with a gun pointing at two deers.

The back panel has a central cartouche of a hunter with sword and shield fighting  with a tiger.
The second cartouch depicts two deer, and the third cartouche depicts two dogs running.

This fine antique Indial silver box has a new  cedar wood lining.

This beautiful box dates from around 1870.
The condition is perfect and original there is no damage to the silver.

It is very heavy in weight. Please be aware that the total weight of 16.37 oz is the weight of the box including the lining not just the weight of the silver used. Please be mindful of this when offerding.

This superb box measures 18.5cm in length, 8.5ccm in width and 5cm in height.
