Description A wonderful large matching pair of English Antique Edwardian solid sterling silver candlesticks by the silversmiths Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd, in excellent condition and with full English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1904. Stunning high quality pair, handsome "regency" style,with embossed flowerand swag stepped bases, with beaded edge rims, and with attractive reeded silver columns.Complete with their original same-dated solid silver removable sconces. Uncommon silver bases with weighted centres. Importantly with no engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms.

Weight Very Heavy 1252 grams, (including base weighting), made from a good thick gauge of silver silver.

Measurements Handsome large size, they measure approx almost9 inches (226mm) inches in height and are 3.7 inches (93mm) x 3.7 inches (93mm) across the bases.

Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1904(date letter "m"). Good clear matching hallmarks on both sticks, and on both removable silver sconces so guaranteed an original matching pair. Also hallmarked on the bases. Maker Silversmiths initials "HE Ld", (Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd). Condition Excellent condition and ready to be used. No splits or cracks, no repairs and no nasty knocks or dents either, just some tinylittle age-related surface dents and bruises, but honestly nothing at all bad and for genuineantique solid silver candlesticks, anice clean pair. Just 2 tiny corner edge pinholes.The silver sconces are definitely original withmatching hallmarks and are the perfect tight fit.
