Wurlitzer Model 700 Jukebox
If you've been searching for a beautifully restored Wurlitzer 700 jukebox, look no further. For your consideration is a very nicely restored example ofone of the rarest jukeboxes produced, from a collection of at least one dozen very high-end jukeboxes. It is in excellent working condition: itselects correctly, cancels correctly, plays very well, and is an interesting jukebox to watch function. Even better, it sounds great! This is a model that you rarely see offered for sale, especially in this nice of shape, so get it while you can!
This model was produced in 1941 and is one of the most desirable golden age Wurlitzer jukeboxes ever produced. These are stunning jukeboxes due to the styling, lighting, animation and colors. This floor model jukebox has a rectangular form with wood veneer on the sides and framing the front, curved yellow and red plastics on the corners and on the crest, chromed escutcheons, and the front center of the door has a chromed grill with red and green plastic inserts on a gold glittered background in front of the speaker, along with 3 tube red, green and yellow colored pilasters on the corners of the door.
This jukebox was restored several years ago and the jukebox is simply stunning. Again, it still plays well, looks exceptional, and has a great sound. The restoration was very nicely done: the plating and plastics look fantastic, and the cabinet looks like it was professionally refinished, though the machine has an excellent patina. The mechanism appears to be professionally redone as was the amp. It is a phenomenal machine and would be a great addition to anyone'srec room, bar room, collection, media room, or arcade.
The metal tag on the back states model number 700 and matching serial number 4465xx.
Dimensions: 55.5 tall x 32.5 in. wide x 25.5 in. deep.
Nonetheless, please note that if you have not owned a jukebox before, these are not CD players, and being 50 years old can be temperamental and are not meant for continuous use all day long. These vintage jukeboxes are meant for occasional use and not for continuous or bar usage.
In addition, there are small imperfections on the box as you can see in the photos. The good news is that they reproduce most of the jukeboxaq in the event of a problem, and there are many people that repair them. The most likely time of trouble is when they are moved. We are experienced sellers of vintage musical instruments, including mechanical musical instruments and coin-ops, and if you have us arrange for transportation, we pack very well for freight purposes, and use highly exerperienced furniture movers if you want your item to receive white glove treatment. Please note that the shipping cost stated in this listing is an estimate and that the actual shipping cost to the buyer will vary based on the buyer's location.
