Early 20th. Century Military telescope with 50mm objective lense and sliding sun shade. It is marked with the manufacturers details - Dollond, London and - Signalling Telescope No. 7584. The non reflective coating is still intact. Two tiny dints can be felt on the main leather covered body otherwise condition is very good. Leatherwork is in very good condition also. Sliding movements are nice and smooth. This previously belonged to a 2nd. Lieutenant who served in the First World War. I do not know if he used the telescopeduring the war as he was commisioned in late 1918 (I also have his compass and medals). Please see my other listings for the compass.
