WW1 Trench Art: 1915 miniature bi-plane carefully made from battlefield brass

An unusual and aged item of near-antique provenance, from nearly 100 years ago.

Opportunity to own a WW1 Trench Art miniature bi-plane, crafted from a bullet and I assume, battlefield brass.

The propellor rotates around, with ease, secured by a small screw (see photo)

Its little fixed wheels have been cut from bullet bases and are each marked:

"U 15 VII" (1915)

Measures appx. 8cm. long from rudder to propellor, and appx. 9cm across wingspan.

A fine little collectable to add toany Trench Art, militaria or aeronauticacollection.
