Genuine full size WW1 Trio with Queens South Africa Medal & 5 Bars & Hallmarked Territorial Decoration.

Awarded to Lt / Captain / Major T.B.Forward .

Court mounted by J.R.Gaunt in original box.

(1) Queens South Africa Medal - engraved to edge Lieut T.B.Forward 23/Co.Imp Yeo. (Imperial Yeomanry. ) NOTE -name differs in spelling from WW1 Trio -Forwood

(2) WW1 1914/15 Star Trio .Star named on reverse Capt T.B.Forwood D of Lanc O.Y (Duke of Lancasters Own Yeomanry.

The 2 others are named on rim only - no Regiment - Major T.B.Forwood.

Victory medal has Mentioned in Despatches Oakleaves.

(3) Officers Territorial Decoration - King George V.Hallmarked Silver -see rear.

(4) French Croix de Guerre and Palm Leaf 1914-1916 on rear.

This set has been Court mounted by J.R.Gaunt & Son - comes in matching box - though lining has worn still marked J.R.Gaunt.

The velvet base has faded showing exact shadow of medals - hook to rear edge that medal pin seats in.

Leather covered wood case in down brown Leather with Gold pinstripe - in good used condition.
