Falck was a highly decorated German Air Force squadron commander during WW2.
Falckwas bestknown in WW2 as Commander of Nachtgeschwader 1, the first night fighter unit of the Luftwaffe, and later commander of all fighters in the Rhineland in 1945.
Because of his extreme personal bravery and successful military leadership in combat, Falck was awarded the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross on October 1 1940!
The 6 x 8glossy black and white photograph shows Falck in his Luftwaffe Majors uniform wearinghis Knights Cross and other awards, and he has signed hisfull name below his image in black felt tip pen ink, postwar.The foto is in very good/fine condition.
