This sale is for an original WWII US Paratrooper Sterling Silver Jump Wings Sweetheart Bracelet. Engraved on the back is ROY ELICKER, serial number 33510819, and PAT PEND NO D 105085 STERLING SILVER LOCKETAG. This bracelet is an estate find and unfortunately I could not find a lot of information about Roy E. Elicker on the internet. What I did find is that he was from Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, enlisted on June 08, 1943, was married, ranked a private, and that his enlistment lasted for the duration of the War plus six months. This sterling bracelet is tarnished and I have not attempted to clean it in order to keep the aged patina. The sweetheart bracelet measures 7 1/4\" from end to end. The metal piece is 1 1/2\" and it opens up so that a photo or locket of hair could be placed inside. The clasp that still works. A great WW2 momento to be worn by a loved one on the homefront.
