US M1905 SA Springfield Armory Bayonet Dated 1918 with Scabbard Sheath. The
bayonet is marked SA 1918 with a flaming bomb on one side of the blade and US with serial number 812003 on the other side.The bayonet overall is about 20-1/2 inches long and the blade is 16 inches long.The
blade is blued andhas not been
sharpened.The
grips are wood and they are in good shape with no cracks.The push button latch and release works very well.The scabbard is
canvas with aleather tip.The
canvas has light stains and shows some slight wear.This bayonet fits the M1903 Springfield, Rock Island, Remington, and Smith
Corona rifles, plus the M1 Garand, Winchester, International Harvester, and H&R rifles.
Be sure to look at all the pictures, and use the zoom feature to see the up close and personal condition of everything. Shipping will be $12.00 through USPS with insurance and tracking included to the USA lower 48 States. If outside of USA lower 48 States it will be at actual cost. I have been asked to show more pictures of the opening of the scabbard, so I have added two new ones. It is hard to capture light inside the scabbard, but it looks to me like there is wood inside for the blade guides. If you have any other requests, please let me know.
