Up for sale is aWWIIEra US ArmyM1900 Haversack Pack. Thispack is the early Khakicolor. It is marked:RIA 1918on the inside. The haversack is complete with allof the shoulder straps and the securing straps, buckles and snap hooks.No rips or tears. Slightly faded from prior usage. See photo\'s for condition.

The Haversack was used from before WWI up through the middle of WWII as the standard pack system for the US Army. Technically is is NOT a pack. It is not fully enclosed like a pack, but rather wraps around the items to be stored. This makes it able to accomodate a large or small number of items. A pack tail was added to this system in order to accomodate longer items, such as a blanket. There was also a \"meat can pouch\" that was added to the upper flap to secure the mess kit and utinsels for easy access.
This is a necesaryitem for any WWIIField Gear Collection.
