Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI US GI M-1918 BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) ammo belt that is all complete including both sides and belt itself. This classic piece features three magazine pockets on the left side and the right side has a pocket for a BAR mag and two pockets for the Colt 1911 .45 magazines, as well as a metal cup in which to place the butt of the rifle when hip-firing. Belt shows some normal wear and has one small area of fraying and one small tear near a snap. Metal cup shows some areas of rust and oxidation. Both sides of belt and belt itself are manufacturer marked LONG and dated 4-18 for April 1918. Complete with all working snaps. A good example of the standard WWI US GI BAR ammo belt for your collection.
