This bayonet has what appears to be a old dried layer of cosmoline- military rust proventitive - on it. I did not attempt to clean the item and is left as found.

It\'s marked with the Springfield Armory SA with Flaming Bomb device and date stamp of 1914. Type other side is marked with US & a draw number.

Wood grips with milling.

The latch works.

*NOTE- this is a aged piece of history, there may be some dings, rust & scratches.
