Wwii 1943 Viner Bros. Leather Us Army M6 Scabbard For M3 Fighting Knife:
Up for sale is a World War II 1943 Viner Bros. Leather US Army M6 Scabbard for the M3 Fighting Knife. This is a leather scabbard for the M3 fighting knife. This scabbard was issued during the early days of war. It was made by Viner Bros. in 1943 and is marked "US M6 VINER BROS. 1943" on one side. It features a rectangular metal plate on both sides by the bottom which provided extra support. Marked on the back in heavy pencil R-24-37. I believe the top part was modified to fit a WWII theater knife because that is what was in it when I bought it. The knife stays in my collection and the scabbard is for sale. It is in good used condition with normal wear from age. Check the pictures out, I'm sure someone could take it back to its orginal condition, with a little work if desired. You are buying it with all it's good and bad points. Email me with any questions. I leave positive response once you recieve the item and let me know that everything is fine.
