Large stack of documents detailing US Army in Northern France in 1944-1945, with some auxiliary material before that time. Records of convoys, Jewish men in the US Army doing duty on Christmas Day, Court Martial Papers, Lists of soldiers and their responsibilities, transfer orders, and a whole pile of mail from the USA during the war. Of special interest is a letter from a Jewish man, an internee at the Normandy POW camp, who spent 6 years in German concentration camps, and he is asking for his release. Original letter and English translation are included. Lots of History in this box. Fits into a Medium Flat Rate Box for shipping.
