Following policy, this book will not be shipped to European countries or other countries that prohibit items from WWII Germany.German Soldbuch WW2 belonging to Gefreiter (Corporal), Heinrich Pichel. Soldbuch discharged on August 1, 1944. The soldier born in March 1926, he joined the Army with only 18 years. He served in the Panzer Grenadier Regiment 104, attached to the 15 Panzer Grenadier Division , created in Sicily (Italy) in July 1943 as a tribute to the missing 15 Panzer Division, destroyed in Afrika, two months earlier. When the soldier joined the division, it was parked in the south of France, to rest and refuel, after the heavy losses suffered in the Italian campaign in Cassino and Salerno. In December 1944 he participated in the famous Battle of the Bulge, where the division was practically destroyed in the failed attempt to take the town of Batogne, defended by the U.S. 101st Airborne Division. After the remnants of the division were transferred to the Netherlands, where they would continue immersed in defensive battles against British troops until their surrender in April 1945 in the German town of Wesermünde. Soldbuch with numerous entries: permits, vaccinations. On page 8a, there is a delivery entrance of the famous assault rifle MP44 "Sturmgewehr 44" considered the first assault rifle in the world, and very difficult to see in the soldbuchs registered as only 400,000 units were delivered, from late 1944. ATTETION :2 pictures of soldiers with MP44, don´t enter in the price, this is the material described above. Impresive document, verdifficult to achieve. Great article , for collectors. Few documents are so well informed. Interesting document of the Second World War with deterioration and normal wear for the passage of time ...and a war.
