Wwii Hump Pilot 1st Air Commandos Painted A-2 Flight Jacket By Monarch Size 52:
This painted Monarch A-2, contract W535-AC-23378, is distinguished by its long and rounded collar and also by its typographically varied label size 52! The hide is buttery soft with only minor wear. The fully functioning zipper is a triple-marked Talon. There is no triangular reinforcement stitching at the bottom of the zipper as is common with this maker. Wool cuffs are completely original and in excellent condition. On the obverse of the jacket, has a group patch that is unknown to me with the owners nickname I am sure "Bud" and the reverse has a humorist side profile of a winged camel wearing headphones and a set of goggles. To the center body of the camel is a bold CBI unit insignia with the planes name "Camel's Hump Airlines". The liner shows expected wear to the collar area with minor separations but other than that, the interior is also near mint. This jacket recently came fresh out of the woods and is guaranteed to meet your expectations in every way. The family said that their father flew with the 1st Air Commandos and I am sure once the research is completed, you will find out what group this jacket belongs to.Unconditionally guaranteed as original. Buyer has a14 day inspection and return privilege if returned in the same condition as sent.
