Wwii Letter 1945 Atomic Bomb Put Japan Off Map Ww2 Military Vintage Ww 2 Paper For Sale

An original World War Two letter including the envelope written by Private Jack Kanzer. The envelope is postmarked Aug 12 1945. In the letter he mentions the atomic bomb. I currently have other letters written by this individual listed. The letter reads:

My Precious Bernice

You should see me the last two days honey. Right now I am so on edge, the suspense of the war ending is really got me. Just two days the most and we will know our faith. It looks very very good that they will agree to the Allies surrender. But honey Japan is very funny in that way, they don't care for the people, up on top of there government. I hope baby by the time you receive this the war will be over....................I will hardly sleep tonight in factit will be like that until the J_ps give there answer. They are insane if they say no because they will never be offered any kind of surrender again. They can put Japan off the map with the atomic bomb. Honey I can picture how excited you are right now.............Jack

The letter is in very good condition, with some light wear.
