A Original WWII M1 Carbine HandGuard, made from Walnut.

VERY EARLY TYPE I INLAND USED TYPE I HANDGUARD MARKED OI AND THE SMALL ORDNANCE BOMB STAMP. EARLY BLUED RETAINING TAB, 2 RIVET.

WIDE DEEP SIGHTING GROOVE.

SOLID and shows the bruises that comes with the use found on these early examples.

IF YOU have a EARLY I or Oval Cut Hi-wood INLAND STOCK THAT SHOWS USE, this may be the HG you need.

This HandGuard was made bySE OVERTONCo.Correctly foundonEARLY to MIID PRODUCTIONINLANDM1 Carbines. Though it can be used on any USGI and some Commercial M1 Carbines. Ithas a DARK RED/BROWNWalnut Color. Handguard appears to have the Original Finish.
