WWII 8th and 9th AF Perry No. 42-16175-P A-2 flight jacket size 38 A-20 pilot named andpainted ingreat condition. The jacket was owned by a A-20 pilot in the 643 BS, 409 BG. He completed his tour of missions in November 1944. The squadron patch, A-20, and bombs are painted, and not flaking, although there is some wear. The spec tag with size tabisclear and bold. The Army-Navy stampis below the tag, andis faint but legible.The leather is soft and pliable, hasnormal wearwith no damage.There is no ghost stitchingon thechestor the back, but the rank was removed from the eppallettes. The liner is inexcellent conditionwithvery littlewearor stain at the neckandunder the arms. The neck closure catch above the zipper and all snaps areundamaged and work. The wool knit cuffsand the wool knit waist bandare originalwithminor mothing, and pull wear and repairs on the cuffs.TheConmarzipper is original with no damage and works smooth.This jacketleather hasbeen used but not abused, and hasnormal wear.Thisis a great example of achest paintedType A-2 jacket.This jacket displays very well, and looks fantastic.The picturesareyour best indicator of condition.Ifyou have any questions, please ask.Good luck offerding, and thanks for looking.

Back from collar seam to bottom of waist band: 23 inches
Shoulder across the top of the back from eppallete shoulder seam to same: 17 inches
