Wwii Railway Arp Hand Lamp - T E Bladon - Dated 1942 - Broad Arrow For SalePlease see the pictures below the description
You are offerding on a WWII hand lamp that is candle powered and was used during the war by ARP wardens and also on the railways. It is in good condition apart from a few minor dents and some paint loss. It has its sprung loaded candle holder, but is missing its door clip and hinged front shutter. The side carries the broad arrow, the date 1942, and the manufacturer T. E. Bladon & Son Ltd., B'ham. The reflectors have lost a lot of their plating. The convex bevelled glass is excellent. Please see the pictures below
Please note post and packing charges are given for both the UK and overseas.
If you are offerding on any of my other sales, I will combine postage on multiple items.
All UK items will be sent, unless otherwise stated, by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded. All items, if under the maximum weight limit of 2kg when packed, will be sent overseas by Royal Mail Airmail International 'Signed For' service unless otherwise stated. Items are now sent this way to conform to /Paypal regulations that safeguard both the buyer and the seller. This can make the shipping charge, particularly for overseas buyers, higher than possibly expected as the Recorded/Signed For service adds £1.10 to UK postage and £5.30 to overseas postage. I can accept no responsibility in the very rare event that items get lost in the post, but I will endeavour to do all I can to help the buyer by contacting Royal Mail and getting them to do the necessary search. Please be aware that it is illegal to falsify the value or contents on Customs documentation and under no circumstances will I do this. Overseas buyers are responsible for all duties and taxes, if applicable, that are levied by their Customs.
