This WWII Style A-2 was purchased from an estate where the previous owner wore it very rarely. It is a quality reproduction that was made by a firm unknown to me and is label marked L&T Sportswear, Los Angeles, CA.

This repro A-2 is very clean overall and shows only light wear. The steerhide leather is of excellent quality and remains soft/pliable. There are NO rips, tears or losses anywhere to the leather exterior (see photos). No patches or namestrips have ever been sewn to the jacket (see photos). Knit cuffs and waistband are solid overall with none of the usual snags and losses (see photos). Zipper run is a vintage style small tooth Talon that has no issues (see photos).

Interior brown colored cotton lining is very clean, has no problems and has a small vintage style AN inspection stamp (see photos). There is also a small AAF stenciled logo to the inner laper (see photo). Label near the collar indicates L&T Sportswear as the manufacturer (see photos). No size tag is present but the jacket fits the mannequin as a comfortable size 40 (see photo).

Measurements for this jacket are: shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back – 19 inches, shoulder seam to the end of the cuff material – 25.5 inches, base seam of collar to bottom of waistband material - 23.5 inches. Armpit to armpit across the front - 21.25 inches.

This jacket is a well crafted A-2 style reproduction made of excellent quality steerhide. Super piece for the re-enactor or for anytime wear. Absolutely guaranteed as described. This jacket is very similar in construction and quality to an Aero Leather or an Aero Leather Flight Manufacturing. It presents a great opportunity for the size 40 wearer and is similar in quality to repro's priced well over $600. An unusual maker that is first quality in all respects.
