This is a beautiful Wall Hand Made knife!!! a custom model # 17 Astro with beautiful black border patrol handle. Knife comes with new model C type sheath with white Arkansas stone .We make first class sheaths . They are made to fit Randall Made knives as well as Wall made knives .This style model 17 has a 5-1/2\" blade ,made from 1/4\" 01 tool steel , brass hilt . This knife was originally designed by Bo Randall , a famous knife maker way back in the 1960\'s for Nasa that can do multiple cores .  Itwill come with a correct type A sheath made by Wall sheaths and will fit wall handmade knives and Randall made knives ,designed 25 or 30 years ago by Randall Made knives. This is beautiful blade,, very nice grind lines,Satin finish bladewith modified bowie clip point . true fighting knife . This style knife was madein early 60\'s and 70\'s bya famed knife maker ofOrlando FL. ,,,,The ones I makeare based on his line or style ofSurvival / fighting knives. I wanted this knife back in the early 70\'s but as a kid could not come up with the money to order one . : ) I am getting a kick out of making them for people who just want a solid , strong survival/ fighting knife . This blade is Flat grind to theedge and is RAZORsharp (top edge is sharpat tip )

This blade has some nice grind lines, and will be a good design forcamp use, or just in case on a day hike or a week long camping trip.

I have a lot of faith in my blades and would pick it over any other knife out there if my neck was on the line !! and I dohave people who carry my knives when they are in harms way.

The heat treating is to a Rockwell hardness of60 - 62 and is wickedly sharp .

I free grind my blades.

My knives are strong , sharp, and dependableand will last a life time to be handed down

with just a little care.As with allknives , I would not store the blade in the sheath for long periods. The 440 C will not rust as bad but ,

01 Tool steel is a high carbon steel and will rust if not oiled ,, just a thin coat after use . I use the

same oil as I do on my guns .

Just a little about me , I made and sold my first knives in about 1984 and like many other knife maker

I sold to mostly family, friends , and co workers. At that time I did not have a shop and good tools

and grinders to work with , that all changed4summers ago when I acquired the

tools and set up my shop to make knives. I plan to be making knives for many years to come.

Please note that I make all my knives , by my hands , free grinding the profiles and blades.

I make my knives one at a time , using raw 01 tool steel and I do my own heat treating and

tempering of the blades. My knives are working knives , strong , sharp and dependable. All
