Wall Pocket Czechoslovakia Stamp Bird And Fruit Vintage For Sale
Lovely vintage plaster of Paris wall pocket. Lively arrangement with cheery colors. A yellow bird with blue tail and blue head is observing pears or apples with some green leaves in the background. Stamped (in red)on the backis Made In Czecho-Slovakia surrounded by a red circle. Also stamped in red is the number 57. Indented on the back is the number 53 and another unreadable number of approximately five digits. This is in great overall condition. There is some original varnish (?) application that is sort of missing on the main fruit but it is definitely original. There is a very small chip near the bird's tail that you may be able to see in the photo. Otherwise, it's in normal good wear-and-tear-I'm-kind-of-old shape. The interior looks like it's not been used. It's approximately 5 and 1/4 inches tall and about 4 inches across.
