GRADING DEFINITIONS-Copyright Overstreet Price Guide (Gem Pub)

4.0 VERY GOOD (VG): The average used comic book. Cover shows moderate to significant wear, and may be loose but not completely detached. Cover reflectivity is low. Can have moderate creases or dimples. Corners may be blunted. Store stamps, name stamps, arrival dates, initials, etc. have no effect on this grade. Some discoloration, fading, foxing, and even minor soiling is allowed. As much as a 1/4" triangle can be missing out of the corner or edge; a missing 1/8" square is also acceptable. Only minor unobtrusive tape and other amateur repair allowed on otherwise high grade copies. Moderate spine roll may be present and/or a 1" spine split. Staples may be discolored. Minor to moderate staple tears and stress lines may be present, as well as some rust migration. Paper is brown but not brittle. Minor to moderate interior tears may be present. Centerfold may be loose or detached at one staple.

This book is a highly collectible Golden Age issue that always increases year after year in the price guide. The universal love for Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and all the other Disney characters will never die.

If you are paying with Paypal (Visa-Mastercard) for a single listing, please pay for the sale right after the sale closes or after you have received your invoice if shipping is unclear (international or multiple purchases).  If you have multiple purchases, I offer a shipping discount and will combine all purchases for discounted shipping, so please wait for a combined invoice before paying each one separately to receive the savings. 

Payment is preferred within 24 hours, but must be paid within 3 days (so only offer if you plan to pay right away!!).  Even if you plan to offer on other sale listings that end on DIFFERENT days, please pay each day (for multiple sales won, please wait for combined invoice prior to paying) for all sales won that day and send me an email letting me know your intent (keep in mind that I ship out every day so the sooner you let me know, the better!) so that I can withhold shipping until other sales close (within a week or so).  I always combine shipping with additional sales won costing only 50 cents each.

Shipping Rates/Policies (USA, Canada and International-Please READ!!)

Combined Shipping:  I can/will combine shipping when possible.  For ALL buyers, once the original cost of shipping is made, there will be an extra $.50 charge for each additional listing won to help offset the cost of packaging, 's recent change to charge seller's for shipping fee's, and the increasing post office fees.  If all listings won have promotional "Free Shipping" (USA only), then there will be no shipping charges.  If there is a mixture of "free" shipping and "pay for" shipping, you will still need to pay for at least 1 of the base shipping fees (usually $4.95) and then the $.50 will apply only to listings with "pay for" shipping (free shipping will have no charge).  Note-once an item is paid for, I have to ship within 24 hours to maintain my status, so please notify me in advance of payment that you plan on purchasing items for sales ending on a different day and we can make arrangements for you to withhold payment to delay the shipping (please, no more than 4-5 days).   

Shipping:  United States

There are 2 options for shipping:

U.S. Postal Service Media Mail (within a bubbled envelope and protected on both sides with heavy cardboard) This is the standard shipping method that I use and I charge a flat rate of $4.95 for shipping (up to 5 comics in the same listing to fit in an envelope-unless I am running a FREE shipping special).  If there are several lots won, see above. 

U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail (in larger box)- For expedited shipping or for comics that sell over $125, I use U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail shipping in a medium/large box with a cost of $7 for the first sale won (up to 2-3 comics-note-if weight is over 1 pound, there is an small additional cost to ship via priority mail dependent upon which zone you live in-please wait for me to reinvoice you with exact shipping cost).

Shipping:  Canada

For Canadian customers, if you have MORE than 10 positive responses-I can ship via USPS 1st Class International rather than the more expensive Priority Mail International.  Please wait for me to reinvoice you for the lower shipping amount prior to payment.  If you have less than 10 positive responses, item must be shipped via US Priority Mail as that is trackable and covered under 's seller protection.  Also, if you prefer to have item shipped via Priority Mail International in a box for protection, feel free to pay off original invoice sent after sale is completed. Due to the recent price increases for shipping to Canada January 2013 with the cost nearly doubling in addition to charging sellers full commission on seller shipping fees, I have to increase my prices.  Canadian buyers base fee is $9.50 and $.75 each additional listing won (up to 4 additional listings).  At the 6th listing won, the process starts over again adding an additional $7.00 for the 6th listing due to the cost jumping considerably after 1 lb and each oz thereafter for US First Class International.  Example:  5 listings won would cost $9.50 + $.75 x 4 ($3)= $12.50 total     If 7 listings are won, the cost would be $9.50 + $.75 x 4 ($3) + $7.00 + $.75= $19.50 

Shipping:  International (Canadian-see above)

To offer on one of my listings, you must have a minimum of 10 positive responses, otherwise, please do not offer.  The United States Postal Service changed rates and methods of International shipping in late January of 2013. To protect both buyer and seller and guarantee delivery, I will ship all comics out of the country via USPS Priority Mail International bubbled flat rate envelope protected on both sides with cardboard with tracking. The price is based on weight of the package and country of destination and will vary but will generally be around $28.20 ($24.95 + $3.25 to cover the commission fees will charge us sellers for the shipping fees).  These bubbled envelopes from the US Post Office are tight and only 1-2 standard sized (gold/silver/bronze age) comics will fit with the cardboard for reinforcement.  Unfortunately, these are NOT large enough for "multiple comic lots" (3 or more comics) or Oversized Golden Age or Treasury Edition Comics, so those will need to be shipped in a Priority Mail box at a higher cost).  If multiple lots are won, I would either have to ship them in a box or a second envelope whichever is cheapest for the buyer.  That is how all items will be shipped and all necessary information on the item purchased will be disclosed.  I will provide a customs number for international shipments but will not GUARANTEE or be responsible in any way for deliveries outside the United States. INTERNATIONAL buyers REMEMBER - SHIPPING CAN TAKE A WHILE.  However, they will be shipped within 1 day of payment.  To save on shipping, I am more than happy to hold a comic (up to 1 weeks) for other listings that you are interested in, but you must notify me immediately so that it is not shipped immediately and we can make arrangements for payment at a later date.

NOTE- In shipping media mail, I have to purchase all of my own supplies which includes either a bubbled envelope or box and all packing supplies (very costly) on top of the cost to ship from the US postal department.  This is in addition to 's new policy on charging their Commission on shipping in addition to the item being sold.  This hit sellers right in the pocket book.   PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND BEFORE LEAVING SHIPPING response LESS THAN A "5" as I do try to be as flexible and competitively priced as possible, but it is much more costly to ship now that has changed the rules on what they charge for commission.

RETURN POLICY

While I do not accept returned items simply because you have changed your mind ("Buyer's Remorse"), if you receive your item(s) and there was an error in the listing or a major problem not described in the listing, please email me within 5 days of receipt.  If I am notified within 5 days of the item being delivered and the items are returned within the standard 14 days of receipt of the item(s) and in the same condition as when I shipped items out, I do offer a money back guarantee.  The Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.  

No Returns on graded/slabbed comics.
