We offer our spectacular rendition of Walter "Walt" Whitman (May 31, 1819 – March 26, 1892)
Sitting in his chair admiring a butterfly. This copyrighted casting is Inspired from the author portrait in the seventh edition of Leaves of Grass, published in 1881 in which Walt Whitman chose a photo taken in 1877, sitting in a twig chair with a cardigan, and a butterfly perched delicately on his finger. This casting has a cat gazing at the butterfly. Another casting without the cat will be available in December. We are also taking pre-orders for those as well.
