Waltham model 1883 size 18 pocket watch, cased in a Fahys sterling silver case. The model 1883 movement is a grade no. 35 with a compensated balance, gold chatons and frosted damaskeen. From the serial number, I gather that the watch was produced around 1888. Condition:The watch works and sets great, although accuracy was not tested. The dial has a very faint hairline between twelve and one and the sterling silver case has some wear commensurate with age, but no dings. Please see pictures, as they are an integral part of the description. All in all, this is a very well preserved watch from the end of the nineteenth century.Important: the plastic stand visible in some of the pictures is NOT included in this sale.
