Some more information about this wonderful Waterman. This model 513 has the most beautiful Golden Ochre with Amber striated lines orveinsrunning through. Looks good enough to eat like toffee, honey or Golden syrup. Thankfully no ones been tempted to have a nibble as this pen is free of any dents or bite marks. I think the look Waterman was going for though was perhaps meant to be Horn. Its made from Celluloid plastic. Very handsome pen. The art deco style clip, lever and rings are yellow gold plated. Lever works superb. Great spring and click back intopositionas it should. No rattle 14C Nib is a delight to write with. Superb fine to medium fine line. Not so paper scratchy either. Quite smooth for such a fine line even when written with at speed. The nib is in perfectconditionand its iridium tips are good to last another lifetime. This nib also has very nice medium firm flexibility and spread that allows for line width variation. Quite a creative line. Wonderful pen. Ready to write. Just add ink. Perfect as a gift or treat yourself to a quality fountain pen.
