This small card (2.5\" x 3\") contains an impression of the official seal of the United States Minesweeper USS Deft (AM 216).
We acquired it from the estate of a WWII Navy veteran who was an officer on the ship when it swept formines in waters near and around Japan just after the official Pacific Theater WWII surrender, September 1945.
This seal is unbroken and crisp.
