Wedgwood Antique Victorian Earthenware Ceramic Jelly Mould

Description

For sale this lovely, heavy, antique earthenware jelly mould which could have been made by Wedgwood as it is impressed accordingly with the Letter W together with the Number 5.

It is cream in colour and has lovely clean lined, vertical (but on a slant) ridges inside, they stop before being redefined in a second tier - please see my pictures.

In excellent condition for it\'s age, there is minor damage (one chip on the base and cracked glaze) commensurate with age and use but it is still watertight and therefore fit for purpose.

Measures approx. 15.5cm x 11.5cm x 9.5cm (depth).

Clustered on a shelf or scattered across a work top, jelly moulds can make a subtle statement in any kitchen! Play with scale by placing a family of moulds along a high shelf for impact, group together on a table or use one as a posy bowl....
