Description

Eric Ravilious designed many beautiful Art Deco images for Wedgwood in the 1930s. The pieces were not in full scale production until 1953 after the end of WWII & Ravilious\' untimely death in 1942 as a war artist.

This is a superb offer of a trio in the \'Travel\' pattern by Ravilious.

\'Travel\' is a stunning harlequin pattern. Each piece features one of about six or seven different images based on methods of Travel including walking, ballooning, sailing, rail, etc.

The trio features a hot air balloon on the cup and a woodland scene with the wind whistling through the trees on the plate.

Condition Report

The trio is in excellent condition.

There are no chips, cracks or scratches.

The colours are bright and clear.
