Col. A.C. Simpson was an attorney in Selinsgrove, PA. He was part of the townmilitiaduring the Civil War.
In 1875 Dr. Burg married Cora H. Simpson, a daughter of Col. A. C. Simpson, an attorney at Selinsgrove, who formerly lived in Northumberland, Pa.

Serious Case of Stabbing. We are
pained to learn, that on Monday night last, as Casper Hane, Esq., ofSelinsgrove,were returning from Northumberland, they were met on the bridge by three persons, who we are informed, molested and otherwise illtreated Col. S. A. scuffle ensued between the Col. and one of the party named VanDyke, when the latter drew a knife and inflicted several dangerous wounds upon the breast, abdomen, etc., of Col.
