The Classic Bait hook is a style that was originally developed for salt water fishing with live squid. This makes it an excellent choice for catfish applications as they\'re meant for hard fighting fish in tough conditions. Features include:

The 1/0 and 3/0 sizes are good options for smaller sized channel and blue cats when fishing with liver, worms, hot dogs etc. The 6/0 and 8/0 sizes are recommended for live bait or cut bait fishing for larger channel cats, blues, and flatheads. Turtles will have a tough time straightening these out.
