Weymann & Sons Banjo With Birds-eye Maple Case And Resonator Style "2" For Sale
This is a beautiful old banjo made by Weymann & Sons. The case is made of bird-eye maple. The hand has mother of pearl inlay the full length of the neck. There is a resonator that comes with this banjo, it is photoed with and without the piece. The resonator's metal edging is loose on one corner and needs to be re-attached. The banjo has no breaks that we can locate. There original label is at the top of the neck and states that it is a Style "2". There is a name on the inside of the banjo Jos. Rogers Jr. There is some residue on the side of the neck. Looks like tape??? (photoed). The four strings are in place. We do not know how to play this instrument.. It appears to be in working condition. If you have any questions that we can answer, do not hesitate to contact us. It is quite heavy (over 16 lbs). We charge the exact postage provided by the USPS. If it appear to be high, we will REFUND any calculation overage when shipped. We calculate per the post office charts, not s calculation.
