• The size of the guard is not determined by the finger size of the ring. It is determined by the width of the shank.

• Small - approximately 18 x 2 mm - fits ring shanks up to 2mm.
• Medium - approximately 21 x 2 mm - fits ring shanks up to 3mm.
• Large - approximately 23 x 2 mm - fits ring shanks up to 5mm.
• Jumbo - approximately 36 x 5 mm - fits ring shanks 5mm and above.
• Each guard can be adjusted, after it is installed, to size your ring down from about an 1/8 to 1 1/2 sizes smaller.

1. Place the ring guard next to the ring shank, it is designed to fit the contour of the ring.
2. Put the ring guard inside the shank (where your finger would go).
3. Gently push down on the ring guard so it takes the shape of the shank and fits your finger.
4. Center the guard on bottom of shank.
5. With a pair of non-marring pliers, tighten the ring guard arms to the ring shank. Do not tighten completely until you have come close to the fit you need.
6. Once there is a close fit, tighten the guard arms completely.
7. Adjust to the right “feel” by pushing in the middle, up or down, of the ring guard. This will get you closest to the fit that is right for you.
