An antique Elkington & Co Silver Plated Entrée dish or serving dish. Impressed White Star Line logo and Elkington & Co. marks , shape number 12239 and date code for 1899. An oval silver plate dish probably originating from the White Star Line RMS Oceanic - maiden voyage September 1899 . Until 1901 it was the largest ship in the world. Sailed from Liverpool and Southampton to New York. Built by Harland & Wolff Belfast in the same shipyard as the Titanic. In good condition, the silver plate is still good and near complete with little wear. Approx 10.25" x 7.75" and weighing 575 grams . A good example of antique White Star Line memorabilia offered with
