FINEST c1890 WHITING STERLING SILVER FLORAL ON SATIN TEAPOT; COMPLETELY HAND DECORATED; EXCELLENT
We are pleased to offer this fine c1890 Whiting sterling silver floral on satin teapot.
Adorned with beautifully hand decorated raised leaf and floral sprays.
Flowers carved in exceptionally high relief from satin surface below.
Ruffle scallop smooth rim.
Detachable button finial cover.
Rolled and feathered acanthus cap double scroll handle, with original heat stops.
This fine c1890 Whiting sterling silver floral teapot is 7 3/4 inches handle to spout and weighs 12 1/2 (standard) ounces.
Hallmarked as shown.
Excellent condition. Rich, lustreous silver patina. Stands firm on table or display shelf. Cover well fit. The hand decorated floral sprays retain their original detail.
