For sale is a rare 6 Volume complete suede leather bound hardcover set, of “The Winning of the West”, by Teddy Roosevelt, in which he offers his account of the story of U.S. westward expansion and settlement, in volume by volume progression. This six-volume set was published in 1905 by The Current Literature Publishing Company, New York (copyright 1889 by Putnam). Vol I – The Spread of English Speaking Peoples Vol II – In the Current of the Revolution Vol III – The War in the Northwest Vol IV – The Indian Wars Vol V – St. Clare and Wayne Vol VI – Louisiana and Aaron Burr Each volume measures 7” x 4-1/2”, and has a suede leather backing. Each also has an inside onion skin page, to protect the unique themed black & white print, on inside forward of each. This will be sent by media mail with insurance.
