RARE c1890 WILLIAM B KERR STERLING SILVER ART NOUVEAU VASE
We are pleased to offer this rare c1890 William B Kerr sterling silver trumpet vase.
In the ever sought Art Nouveau manner.
The Newark, New Jersey firm originally Kerr & Thiery in 1855. Acquired by Gorham in 1906. Most noted for their siver child wares.
Classic trumpet form.
Beautifully raised floral sprays. United by twin vine streams.
Lower centre script "GK" (?).
Hallmarked as shown.
This rare c1890 Kerr sterling trumpet vase is 6 3/4 inches tall and weighs 3 3/4 (standard) ounces.
Rich, lustreous silver patina. Stands perfectly firm on table or display shelf. Numerous tiny bumps, most to lower body, and under rum. No returns based on condition.
