This set, Number2071 in Britains catalogue, is in very good condition. The only situation preventing a highergrading is that figures probably have been played with, but carefully! Please note the pictures. These are hollow-cast lead models, all madeby Wm. Britains of London, in the 1950’s. This set comprises 6 marines and oneofficer. There are no repairs orrepaints to the figures. All the helmetballs (not spikes due to close quarters aboard ship!) are present as are allbayonets. These are the 2 things usuallymissing on these figures. There is no box with this group. This set was produced for the 1953 Coronationand made its first appearance in the catalogue of that year. The set was produced from 1953 to 1960.
