Antique Worcester Porcelain Fluted Cup and Saucer circa 1770 ~ As Found ~

~ Jabberwocky Pattern ~

Cup is 2 7/8" high ~ Saucer is 5 1/4" in diameter

An 18th century English Worcester porcelain tea or coffee cup with handle and fluted, scalloped saucer brightly painted in turquoise and red in the Jabberwocky pattern. Both are marked with painted symbol beneath although the mark on the cup has flown with glaze. In as found condition but still with very nice feel and interesting study example.

Sold strictly as found; the pieces themselves don't have any chips but there are traces of over paint to hairlines and wear to the enamels in the saucer, see all the pics. Still has a colorful and lovely display on a shelf.
