You are offerding on a Old Vintage 1959 ZENITHModel C725,7 TUBE AM/FM (AFC) RADIO.

This ultra-cool radio was made by Zenith in 1958 or '59.

Refurbishment process:

This radio has had all paper capacitors replaced including electrolytic, it has been cleaned and the exterior resurfaced and brought to a near mirror shine.

Original design of chassis:

Zenith Model C725 c. 1959

Avocado Green and White Plastic with Gold trim. 7 tube Superheterodyne; Standard Broadcast and Frequency Modulation (AM/FM)

Tubes used are 6BJ6,12AT7, 12BA6 (x2),12AU6, 35C5, 19T8

Attractive Design, However I hated the overall Trim for this unit so I made some changes during the refurbishment process. I hope you agree the black grill cloth, gold fascia with original sea foam green cabinet, are a far better fit to this modern is age designed radio.

Playability:

This Machine tunes AM and FM frequency well, however external antenna improves performance. This Radio really has great sound.

Impairments:

A bit of light scuffing that refused to be buffed out on case.Transport and delivery to ensure packing peanuts are used in to ensure no tubes are jostled out of position or damaged during shipping.)---
