World War I Doughboy Helmet (with Chin Strap And Liner) And Duffle Bag For Sale
The following World War I items are from Ivan R. Beebe. He was born 5 November 1891 in Linn County,
Iowa. He was the son of William H. Beebe
and Ida Williams. He registered for the
United Sates Army on 5 June 1917. He was
drafted on July 25, 1918. He served in
France.
- World War I
“doughboy” helmet. Very good condition
for age. Very little rusting. No dents.
Has some scuffmarks. Still has
the leather chinstrap and interior head liner. The liner is marked R. H. Long.
- World War I Canvas
and leather duffle bag. Has two end
pouches. Has a few rips and tears. The bag iswrinkled and somewhat stiff. Material crinkles when you try to straighten
it, not sure why. The bag also has a
musty old smell.
