Bought this for a recent trip to fish in TN and it worked perfectly for bluegill, bass and catfish (even caught a turtle!). Tube (24\") fits diagonally in a typical roll-on luggage bag. The rod is soft enough to throw some pretty light lures/bait and even though it\'s pretty well built/rugged, it works effectively for lighter tackle applications. I fished it with 6# test on a Mitchell 308 which was a good balanced setup. I have used a similar setup backpacking and horse packing.
Guides are great, wraps are great, ferrules are great, cork is little darkened, but great, finish is excellent. Connections are nice and snug. Tube and bag are great as well. It\'s a good rod and worked as hoped. Send me any questions and I\'ll do my best.
