Intriguing WWI Enlisted Serviceman\'s Campaign Hat Quartermaster Corps. Everything about this hat in style and look is WWI, it has the lighter OD color versus the darker WWII look, however the silk banding is dark, like seen on WWII hats. The sweatband is in good condition, has signs of wear and use, under the sweatband there is quite a bit of markings (reference pictures). One of the markings on the inside of the sweatband states \"RECONDITIONED / CONTRACT W669-QM-9365\", next to it is marked \"73-H-56242-6 7/8\" and next to that mark is \"222-F.A. / SA2-5899\". The 222 F.A. is in reference to the 222 Field Artillery Regiment. There are areas of the sweatband where some of the stitching to the hat has come loose or undone. It has the original chin strap. There are a few areas of mothing on the hat, the cords have faded and have areas of staining and discoloration from use and age. The hat is a size 6-7/8. not for sale.
